Some people's hearts are cold as ice. There is not always an explanation for the things people do, some are just evil.

Wiel and Henry write a book that reads as clear and concise as any movie. The characters are well developed and believable. It is a solid entry into the clean suspense genre.

Thomas Nelson knocked it out of the park with the cover I mean, that chick looks cold-hearted to me.

Dollar$ & $ense = 3.25
If you desire a well paced clean contemporary read with recognition of Christianity you will enjoy this story. If you prefer suspense where you don't know the killers or the villain ahead of time. You won't enjoy this story.

Shared Hope Review

This circle of friends uses hope after turmoil and pain in life situations they find in scripture and personal reaching out to God for help. In each chapter they reveal how he responded and gave them hope.

Ministry Message = 3
Despite what happens in life, there is hope found in your relationship with Christ.

Craft = 3
Each woman brings a different style and voice. Some more formal and persuasive than others but all clear and inspirational. It seems intentional that the devotions are short but may have  delivered greater impact and been more memorable if extended.

Aesthetics = 4
The colors bring to mind the beginning of spring. It invites the reader to open up and be refreshed.

Dollar$ & $ense = 3.5
Any woman looking for a literary circle of comrades to help you through a hard season in life this book will serve that purpose by the word of each woman's testimony.

Happily Ever After (Deep Haven Series #1) 3x5 PeakView

First 5%: So the opening is the kind of romantic cuteness that makes me smile when I read it. It is a quick and smooth pull into the story.

Middle 5%: So the middle of this book was so far along and filled with such tension I wondered what happened. I was almost one hundred percent sold on reading the entire book.


End 5%: The ending to this Christian romance is true to formula. It doesn't give enough away for me to figure out what happened.

I will be reading this book in it's entirety and giving a review.

CatWalk 3x5 PeakView

This peakview was downloaded as a free kindle read.

First 5%: Easy start not quick and hard like most adult reads. It is age appropriate however so a teen into fashion would probably be drawn into it based on this portion of the book.

Middle 5%: Moves well but not with enough conflict and tension to make me wonder what happened since the beginning of the story.

Last 5%: Ending is predictable but filled with good life lesson, written with a good bit of tension. I believe it would be an impactful read for the target age group and demographic.

Faithful Folios 3 x 5 peakviews begin on Monday:

I'll be doing a peakview of the first 5% Middle 5% and last 5% of books downloaded to my kindle as free downloads from Amazon and submitted without request. If the book peaks my interest I will read it in it's entirety and post a full review. I have LOTS of books downloaded as freebooks from Kindle I'll start with these.

I am opening submissions to Christian indie authors with the understanding that I will not provide a full review unless a book "peaks" my interest in this stage. This way the authors and readers have more in depth information than back cover copy and I'm able to budget my time better and deliver more reviews.
