I enjoyed the reference to a relationship from the agent but I would have loved a chance to peak into the prayers and worship of Agent Nick. I loved his testimony if I would have been able to see more interaction directly between he and God it would have been a five.
Ministry Message = 5
You are never alone when you have God in your life. This message was clear and demonstrated well throughout the story. The sub messages all supported this main message and resonated well throughout the story.

Great execution of character and presenting the romance and suspense in a fresh and exciting way. This book had twists coming even I didn't expect and it is not easy to stump me.

The only graphic design team I love more than Revell's is my own. I absolutely LOVE their attention to detail...the Raggedy Anne doll is an awesome touch.

This is the closest I've come to giving a five in a long time. Not only will book clubs love this book I believe that churches and Christian foster care organizations in particular would do well to share it with their older children about to age out of the system. As a former foster child I loved it!

I love the way the main character Kelly is so honest and open about her relationship with God. I thoroughly enjoyed watching her lean on God through life at risk experience.
Ministry Message = 4
God never leaves or forsakes you. Great message.

Hinze is an expert at what she does. While Kelly seemed a little stiff and bland at times I was able to believe her as a character, the way she is written is done well.
Aesthetics = 3
It fits the genre and is pretty but nothing spectacular.

An enjoyable read that will minister to and entertain any Christian fiction reader especially one who loves romantic suspense. See what the publisher has on their site about the book.

While there is a lot of talk about coming to know the Lord from many of the characters there was a lack of showing how they do this in a new way.
Ministry Message = 4
I absolutely enjoyed the way the messages of this book was illustrated, I was especially pleased I was able to understand the two main messages conveyed and the author stayed true to the formula for romantic suspense.

Nice to see an expert on the job. The characters pull you in, the scenery is painted before you with each word and the emotions are extremely captivating. It is clear that Eason is a great student of writing.
Aesthetics = 5
Revell is back on top in the running for being my favorite for covers. I mean the artist even put cuts on Sam's fingers down to the description of a scene in the book. Boy I gotta tell you makes reading the books much sweeter when the cover does it's job.
Dollar$ and $ense = 4
Great way to wind down while you get all wound up. A worthy investment for those who like to read as one of their past times.

This cover is beautiful, and feels great.

The illustrations are beautifully done and the prayer is written in a way that plants basic Christian principles in the child. The rhythm and pattern of the prayer is simple and would make a nice addition to any child's library.

Donetta Bradford and company offer a grandmotherly glimpse into their relationship with the Lord. Not alot of introspective prayers but the mention of His will is how they show their relationship with Him.
Ministry Message = 3
This is a prodigal granddaughter, love fated will happen story. Romance readers know the formula and Wingate does not disappoint in offering hope and romance, with a splash of mystery.
Craft = 3
The characters are well developed and quirky enough to believe. The plot and description are true to the region.

Bethany is definitely created a cover that captured the feel of this story. Kudos design team!

If you're a light, inspirational romance reader and enjoy a story with southern voice and dialect you'll find this book to be a winner.

Vertical Reach = 4
The characters reveal snatches of their relationship with God. It happens at natural unforced places of the story in an almost seamless way.
Ministry Message =3
I'm not sure there was an overall ministry message to the story. A few nuggets ran throughout that would prove to be good reminders to any reader but there was no overall great encompassing point of ministry.

The writing is superb. I couldn't give it a five because although I don't read suspense a lot I knew who the burglar was by the end of the first chapter. The romantic overtures were great as well as the well fleshed out characters.

Bethany House created a perfectly matched cover to the audience, genre and characters. I usually love Revell but Bethany House is giving them a run for there money in the making great covers.

I'd recommend this book and if I were a reader would feel it money well spent for a great romantic suspense story.
